How does a "System 2/3" work?
You have selected three picks and are playing the system “2 out of 3”.
In this example, you selected the following picks:
- AC Milan wins
- Real Madrid lead (at halftime)
- Arsenal FC wins
The system 2/3 produces the following three possible combinations.
Combination 1 | Odds |
---|---|
AC Milan | 1.30 |
Real Madrid | 1.20 |
Combination 2 | Odds |
---|---|
AC Milan | 1.30 |
Arsenal FC | 1.10 |
Combination 3 | Odds |
---|---|
Real Madrid | 1.20 |
Arsenal FC | 1.10 |
Let’s assume that "AC Milan wins" and the "Arsenal FC wins" picks were predicted correctly and only the "Real Madrid lead (at halftime)" pick was predicted incorrectly.
The winnings are calculated as follows: As "Real Madrid lead (at halftime)" lost, combinations 1 and 3 are incorrect. Combination 2 is correct so the odds will be: 1.30 x 1.10.
Assuming you have a stake of R15 (from a stake of R5 per bet). This results in a pay-out of 1.30 x 1.10 x R5.00 = R7.15!
